Matthew's Garden

Theme Verse: Matthew 25:37-40 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
Purpose:
1. Feed the hungry in our community by planting a garden.
2. Provide intergenerational hands on ministry opportunity for PWPC members.
3. Connect with local soup kitchens and ministries which care for the hungry.

November 2015 Update: Matthew's Garden continues to progress here at Palms West Presbyterian Church. We have composted, planted assorted vegetables, installed an irrigation system, and put up a critter fence. The Youth group  planted potatoes and green beans to finish the planting process. Thank you to all that have donated. For those of you that have not please consider helping to feed the needy through this garden by making a donation. 100% of what we collect goes to the cost of the garden.
